shifter

I recently bought a 1980 z28 with 4:10 gears in the rear end.I am looking for the proper hurst shifter for my tranny.Can anyone give me some more info on my tranny specifics and what shifter would be best.

What tranny are you running? Most shifters are pretty much the same, only the handle and mounting change.

That's what im not sure of I think it's a borg warner and im pretty sure from the way you reverse it's a muncie but im not sure im kind of new at all of this.

The main difference between the two will be the way they mount and the rods. I've interchanged both with no problem.
