just finished a 2004r into my 69 camaro,should have done this a long time ago.junkyard trans $150, th 400 crossmember,$50new spedo gears $50 shift kit $100 2400 stall converter, $300. it took a week working a couple hours a night. i did have to extend the cross member another inch, but it wasnt bad. ive got 14 inch ralleys so the tire is about 24'" and 3.55'2 . now 55 is a little over 2k. yes it is not as fast as my th350 with a 3500+stall, but i can drive it. i plan on driveing it from il to new york,then down the coast to virginia. so if you see a fathom green 69 with a black vinly top its me.
