Rear suspension (leaf springs)

Anyone have a clue where i can get some new(better performing) rear leaf springs for my 2nd gen 81 z28. ive looked almost everywhere and no one seems to sell them which means the only way to better performance in rear is with shocks alone???? that seems a lil odd. thx in advance for the info...

http://www.guldstrand.com/ He will have them built.

http://www.landrumspring.com/racing/mono.html Good selection, you just need to find out what rate you might need.

http://www.eatonsprings.com/products.htm Also good selection, need to now required rate.

Or I can build you a custom set, for auto cross, drag race or whatever.

you can try calling (not sure of the name) the guys at caltracs. i believe he knows someone in the biz who can make you leaf springs, in particular fiberglass ones wih different load capacitiyes to help with launching etc...

Rancho used to make something, not sure if they still do.
i thought hotchkis was brewing something up for early 70 F-bods?
may wanna check them too.

want a great stiff performing shock. i recommend Tokico's
of course i dont think they would suite a strip type of car, but cornering/street driving, can't beat em.
