Cool Questions about a 1974 Camaro

Hello everybody! This my first time in here, im glad to be apart of this!

A guy at my job will probably sell me his 1974 Camaro for around 500 bucks from Virginia. This will be my first Camaro and most importantly, my first GM car.

Ive always wanted a classic Camaro but the 1967-73 cars are WAAAY out of my budget.

I did some research on the internet and I fell in love with the front end of the 1970-73 Camaro.

My question is: Can I use the Front end of a 1973 Camaro on a 1974 Camaro without too much fabrication?

Thanks alot for your help!

AFAIK, it's a direct replacement. Any problems you come across doing the conversion shouldn't be major at all.

It seems like alot of trouble to go through to still have a 74 rearend, unless this 74 is in a nice rust free condition, i might just save up for a good deal on a 70-73 project car. Just my opinion though.
