Question Purchasing a 1972 camaro

Hey guys, My name is Alex. i am purchasing a 1972 camaro. im getting a good deal. verry good deal 90k original miles. I am trying to figure out what kind of camaro is it? all i know at the moment, is that it has a 350 2 barrel carb engine , with a t350 trans. it has a horseshoe shifter, 10 bolt rear end. thats all i know at the moment. i plan on restoring what needs to be done. But the only experience i have a 1994 camaro z28. lol. so my question is , is this 72 camaro base? z28 ? ss? and theres like the last 6 digit vin number. its pretty much incomplete. il know more tomorrow once i go pick it up. But what kind of camaro is this? that way i can go in the right direction. Thanks for ur time!

I would go to NastyZ28 Second Generation Camaro Owners Group
They have a lot of good people over there with great information on sec gen Camaros.
Here is a page that might help you out. http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro72.php
Good luck.
