Pro Topline - Iron Lightning heads

I've seen these heads advertised for a while, but have never heard any comments from anyone using them. The flow numbers advertised in Summit sound good. Any comments? I was considering the 180cc version for my car.

Thanks

They are not getting glowing reviews at nastyz28.com. The flow numbers aren't up to claims and some purchased from a certain supplier (enginekits.com) have quality problems:

Enginekits sells them for cheap; as to whether they are worth the price, and considering they might need some work, is up to the buyer.

I decided on Vortec heads in my own case. Proven performance, and they make tremendous power out of the box. Mine have been completely ported and contoured due to the size of my engine (413"). I too considered those Topline heads, but decided against it after reading marginal reviews on the web, as angel71rs mentioned. On the other hand, everyone I've talked to
who has run Vortecs were blown away by the power they made, even on mild cammed engines.

Thanks. I figured, if they were as good as they claimed, that everyone would be running them. I'll look back towards the vortecs or if money allows, AFR's.

What about Trick Flow 23* aluminum heads? They are around $900 at goautocenter.com. They flow a bit under the AFR 195's (but are $300+ less) but outflow the Vortecs.
