Please help identify rear end on 69Camaro
I just bought a 69 Z28 clone Camaro with a bad engine and i have 2 questions one concerning the rear end it is a 12 bolt with a casting#3969278nf the other # on the left axle tube is
CCF102(Bor3)1 ,other question i have found a 400 SB that has been stroked to a 415 internally balanced with 5.7 rods, claimer pistons for $2,300.00 is this a good motor ?Please Help!!

Sounds like a '70 Chevelle or Monte Carlo 12-bolt that has been modified for leaf spring mounting. These rears are 1" wider than a real 1st Gen 12-bolt housing. The CCF code is for a 3.31 posi rear.
