Post picked up some Dynomax Race Magnums

I went to the speed shop today to buy some mufflers and these are the ones they told me to buy. They said they are quieter than a 3 chamber flow but flow much better. They definately weren't cheap but I don't mind trying them. The pic in the book looked like this

What do you guys think? I know its a little late but I was curious if anyone had experience with these. I'm excited to get these turbo muffs off my car

Cool

Yes, the Ultraflow is a great muffler. I had one on my car before I changed to a 3" Dynomax Bullet. I wanted it LOUD! again. It combines lower noise levels with excellent flow.

that looks like a good muffler there - should keep the flow about wide-open...

Derrick - does that bullet even count as a muffler! lol, actually I've looked at those race mufflers - how do they compare with glasspacks for flow and noise?

Blue eyes,

The bullets are far louder and flow better than glasspacks. I had them on my 79 when I was at Mt Home and got pulled over on more than one occasion because they said my car was too loud (and I was just cruising the streets ) Believe it or not though, when I replaced the bullets with hooker aerochamber mufflers I actually picked up a .10 in the quarter (all in the 60 ft)

I know its the classic forum. But I am getting an Ultraflow welded onto my `95 Camaro as we speak. I should have ET's and sound opinions soon.

just had the dynomax ultra flow (bullets)installed on my ride and they sound great. a real deep deep sound that i think is deeper than flowmater series. i went with the x-pipe so is has that unique sound when you get some rpms going. i love em...

louder than the flowmaters and quiter than the regular bullets.

I got mine installed and I am really happy with them. I just need to fix the header leaks. Those ticks are really ruining the sound of the car. They do have a really deep sound and aren't as quiet as I expected. They still aren't too loud but when you get on it, they really wake up

I went from a dual 2" exhaust with stock manifolds and super turbos so I don't really know how the welded mufflers compare to others. It did make a huge difference on my car though. I also went with 2.5" pipes and shorty headers so it all contributed
