Nicked rod journal

While assembling a 350 for my 78 camaro I nicked a rod journal on my crank. Its a very small nick and I torqued the rod cap down and turned the motor over a couple of times, it didnt mark the rod bearing and I cant really feel it with my fingernail. Will the motor be ok to run like this or when it gets to operating temp. and the parts expand from the heat could the bearing touch the nick? Thanks.

You should take some emery cloth and rub it lightly, if you can't feel it with your fingernail you should be good to go.
