new leaf-springs for the drags

Question to all out there. I'm wanting to replace the worn out leaf-springs on my 73 and want some recommendations. Should I go with the stock replacement multi-leafs, or look into some aftermarket ones? Should I use mono or multi leafs? I've heard that mono leafs work better at the drag strip. I am putting on solid bushings and the Comp engineering slide-a-link bars for more traction. I have a 400 hp 355, auto, and 4.56 gears that I really want to hook up at the track so any information that can help me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, T
