Need to know color of the underside of original hood 68 RS

I have a friend that has a 68 RS and it is Blue , but the underside of his hood is black ? Is the original color black ? or the body color ? Thanks for your help

to determine the exact body color you need to look for the color code on the cowl tag...i can not remeber the exact website that has a list of what each code is but i will try to find that for you.
