It came stock with a V6, i want to take the motor out and put a 383 stroker motor im getting from a friend. I have a 400 turbo transmission in it now and a rear end out of a 1970 monitcarlo 10 botl i believe. Whatelse am i going to need to do i know motor mounts, but what about springs, brakes, calipers, steering? what all do i need to change out here not quiet sure. Any help would be great. Thanks

With a little thought, it should be obvious. You mensioned mounts, and of course there's the exhaust. Accessary brackets will be different. Find a guy with an 8 and take a pict.

Definitely going to want to change out the brake system. this swap makes the car heavier. Just like with a 3rd or 4th Gen you need to do that. Also you'll probably want a bigger radiator as well as fans from an 8 cylinder car. the rear should handle the power fine but check it over to make sure.
