mild perf cam for a stock 454
My dad has recently acquired a 69 wagon, and has a stock 454 out of a 77 truck (probably all original, all stock).
Wants to put together the wagon, BBC TH400, stock rear end and gears (no idea, right now what but probably not ideal).
We both know it will not be a monster but want to do a mild perf cam (with a noticeable but not dramatic lope) alum intake, and headers just to wake it up a bit.
what cam would you guys suggest?

I would look at the Comp Cams Extreme 4x4 cams, they are just what you need to make torque, and have a lope, and also work with all your power accessories and a/c. I would stay around 268 degrees advertised duration or less, if you want a daily driver. Add a performer intake (or similar), and about 9 to 1 compression, and enjoy

well we were looking around and found the Summit cams for $75.. the comp cams had more selection (probably a better suited one) but at more than 2X the money it just was not worth it for this.
this will be put together and played with for a short time, then probably sold so we will see what the summit one will do
