has anyone put a ls1 in a 67-69? if so can ya help me with a little info.

Alot of people have started doing that. Alot of people that post on pro-touring.com have done it and they might post on here as well. Keep asking around and i'm sure you'll find all the info you need.

what motor mounts and header did you used?

The headers are easy, Street and Performance www.hotrodlane.cc makes LS1 headers for a variety of applications. Call and talk to Mark. They also can supply you with some very nice motor mount plates. I fabbed mine out of 1/4 inch steel plate and saved some cash.
