Ok i finished all my cam install, but the shipment of the rockers lagged, so they finally got here and im gonna do it this weekend, how much power gain (1/4 mile wise) should i expect? I currently have stock stamped rockers, and am upgrading to Proform 1.6 roller rockers.

 

I wouldn't expect much more than .1 sec. You'll probably see as much power gains just from switching from stamped to roller rockers as you would going from 1.5's to 1.6's. Most engines I've seen gain about 8-10 hp from 1.6's, and 10-15 hp out of the converstion from stamped to rollers. Remember though, this is at the engine. 20 hp at the engine, you might see 12-15 at the wheels, which should give you about .1 sec.

 

So since i am going from 1.5 stamped stock rockers to 1.6 rollers we are talking about around 20hp at the engine???

 

Yeah, that should sound about right. 20 hp at the engine should be worth close to .15 at the track, so good luck!
