I'm considering dumping my third gen for a 2nd gen to get out of emmisions, but it would be a dailey driver. Ive done a search but would like to know exactly what is involved in switching over to a t56 with a hydrolic clutch. This would be early 80's, very late 70's. I don't know much about 2nd gens, so any help is appreciated.

 

I am considering a Richmond 6 speed... seen it done on a 69 vette with little issues...

About what would be the cost of swapping a t56 in for a th350?

 

I spent just under $3000, using all new stuff (including a crate trans), in 1995.
