High Beam Headlights for 69 Camaro

One of my high beams is out and just curious if anybody knows if there is a seperate element in the bulb for the high beam. The low beam works fine. The total light was out but I wiggled the connection and got the low to work but the high is out.

Before I go and replace the bulb figured I would ask. It could be that the wiring could be shot. The other side light works fine in the low and the high setting.

My guess is that there is a seperate element.....

any takers

Yep! There is 2 elements in the old headlights. Replace it with a new one and while you're at it, wire brush the harness connector. They get a little corroded over time.

thanks. I figured I would ask before I went out and bought the light. Looks like I will replace both of them with a different brand (brighter). Hopefully it solves the problem......
