Help with my lights...

alright... my dad owns a 67 camaro rs with an old school (1974 i think it is) 350 engine in it with a ****load of work done to the engine itself. my dad took it to a dyno when he first got it 4 years ago and it pushed around 350hp/385tq... or somewhere around there. anyways, one day one of his front lights blew out so he went to replace both of them, and none of them work... and then both break lights stopped working until i put a new fuse in and then one started to work... maybe my dad got the wrong lights for the front, but i seriously doubt it cuz he doesn't make careless mistakes like that... what could be the problem? could be a problem with the fuse? ehh... i dunno, im just looking for help here to see if i can get my dad's car back up and running because i wanna take that car out again... not in the mood to risk an acident or getting a ticket just because it's lights aren't working, but damn... that car turns heads because it's so freakin' loud... it's got a choppy idle... it SCREAMS when you stomp on the gas, and that sucker burns mad gas, lmao. oh well... thanks for any help i can get

Start simple, check all connections, and check the grounds, most electrical bugs can be traced to bad grounds. If it blew the fuse there is a short somewhere, wireing can be a royal pita if you let it, start at one headlight and follow the wires as far as possible, then go to the other and do the same if you can't find anything there it may be on the backside of the fuseblock. Good luck

yeah, thats what i was thinking... i was working on it today and it's not the fuses... it's probably the wires man, they're sooo freak'n old it's not even funny. ill take the camaro down somewhere in miami to have someone re-do the whole wiring in it... how much you think that's gonna run me? it's hotter than hell outside, and im not gonna try to figure this damn thing out because i've already looked at the wires and i can't find a damn thing wrong with it! lol, thanks though, i appreciate your help

Check the regulator.. If you put it in neutral and rev it up do the dash light and head light get brighter? If so, thats the problem.
