Headers?

I want to convert from stock enhaust manifold to headers, and I want to go long neck headers. Could anyone recommend a set of long neck headers that would fit my 1980 Camaro, 350 Cu In...? Im in California and I do have all of the smog stuff that i have to deal with also if that matter. Thanks before hand.

Re: Headers?

Just shop around man, I'm sure a local speed shop could get you small block chevy headers that are legal! Keep in mind they are a pain in the *** to put in, but worth it...

Re: Headers?

Thanx guys, Ive done a lot of purchasing through jegs and summit, and when the websites say they can fit a 1980 camaro, does that mean i shouldnt have any problems with clearance? i want to avoid modifieing as much as possible.

Re: Headers?

If they say they fit, then they are supposed to. But in the real world you may have to do a little massaging to keep them from rubbing. A BFH or long bar ususally does the trick.

Re: Headers?

before you buy talk to a sales person to make sure they are smog legal for Ca and come with the sticker that says so
Thorley makes nice headers that last a long time
