I would think regular 350 headers would work. Unless the exhaust port is a different shape. I believe there are two different ports.

One shaped like this: 0

And another shaped more like this: []

I could easily be wrong, though.

The vortek engines have angle plug heads, so you can't use regular classic sbc headers. Hedman makes an inexpensive set, which I have on my car (angle plug heads). I'm not happy with them though. They warped badly after cam break-in and I've had a hard time getting them to seal since. I'll replace mine with Hookers. :/

Don't put coated headers on an engine during break-in. The unusually high temperatures that sometimes occur during break-in can damage the coating.

Funny you should ask this... I happened to ask the same questions last night. At Nastyz28.com Now I see I wasn't the only person confused about it. I had heard many of the things that were mentioned in this topic which are innaccurate (example- Vortec's are angle plug heads, you have to run Vortec headers)

I found out that the truth was that I could run any headers I wanted and that they were straight plug heads. If you want the whole topic drop me an email and I'll let ya check out the whole thing.

The 330hp engine has the cast vortecs which are straight plug.
