I have a 1976 Y82 Trans Am. I am attempting to locate the
bird emblem that goes on the nose, as well as the horn cap
(it has the Formula wheel). These both happen to be gold
instead of red like the other T/A's. Apparently this is the only
year they used gold emblems. The 1977 and newer cars had
the Pontiac crest in the nose, and the horn button had a red
bird. Does anybody know of one of these cars being parted
out? I have both original emblems but the nose bird has seen
a few rocks and the clear plastic is badly chipped. I would
appreciate any leads I could get on locating some, or to
possibly have mine fixed. Thanks!!
