Disk Brake material questio
What stops the best?
Generally speaking, a good set of bonded, semi-metallic pads from a company like Bendix are great for the street. I find that alot of the more metallic pads (e.g. Performance Friction Z-rated) need to be heated before they feel right. And, that doesn't help you on the street.
Depending on what you're driving, sometimes the rear drum brakes will so soft, and a good bleed of the rear will bring them back. And, that will make a huge difference in the stopping feel of the car.
