Is a original 68 Camaro body better or is a clone is as good as it?

i don't know what you mean by clone.. but if you mean a fake camaro, then don't go for it

there is no such thing as a fake camaro... there are SS look alikes thats what a clone is. but i would go for a orignal one, if its an SS or w/e then u can acually say u own an SS and not be lieing

 

If you have the choice and the means($), I would ALWAYS go for the real thing over a clone-Said the man who cloned an SS. It costs FAR more to track down the correct parts to clone an SS or Z28, but when it all comes down to it- you still don't have the real thing. My '68 is a 123.... VINned car, so those that know Camaro's would see right away that it came with a Straight Six(SS ), and not a V8 like the 124.... VINned cars. That's why I tell anyone who asks that NO my car isn't a real SS. And even after spending all of that cash on it to make it LOOK like an SS, it's not worth as much as even a moderately flogged original.
