I'm not a fan of those wheels - a little too "bling bling" for me...but otherwise the car looks fantastic.

Your car is fair, but the wheels look like crap. Overall I am not impressed.

Ugly as sin. A total eyesore. However, just to show you what a great guy I am, I would be willing to store it at my house for only a minimal charge. You know, just so your neighbors don't complain about you lowering property values and such. Of course, you should probably leave a set of keys, as well. I may need to move it while I work on home projects. I wouldn't have to move it more than a few hunded miles a week, though, so don't worry about that. Just leave me some gas money to cover the "moving costs."
Seriously, I'd love to have your car. I think it looks great.

Got a pic of your car? Just curious what you're judging his against.

Wow! You've done one hell of a job in creating a beautiful ride!

I think the EVOs look better on the 35th than on the 69.

Jody, please keep us updated on your twin tirbo '69 project!

I have been visiting your site often.

Just a side note, would it be difficult to install a twin turbo small block in a second gen.?

Also, what type of rims are those on the '69 twin turbo project?
Size?

Thanks Bill, I'm trying to keep it updated as I go. I think the second gen twin turbo would be about the same as the first gen. Not super difficult, but a fair amount of fabbing to get it in there, mostly the exhaust and tubing from the turbos to the intake.

The wheels are Fikse's, 18X8" up front and 18X12" on the rear.

When I get enough money together Jody, I may fly down and pay you a visit - talk about doing something for my '80 Z28.....
(All cloud talk for now though )

I've seen your past and present projects. Superior, clean work.

(Seen them on nastyz28.com board too!)

Anyway, not to highjack the original poster's thread, once again, JonSS beautiful '69 ya got there!

Jody, I was thinking the exact same thing. Those are some pretty harsh words to be throwing down when you don't offer your own car to be judged.

Thanks Scott and Jody.

The wheels definitely set the car apart from your "run of the mill" 69 camaro. Of course I could have slapped on some plain ol' 17" Torq Thrusts and blended in with the rest of the crowd, but that's not me.

Even if I did change the wheels, it probably would be for some 18" fikse, or HRE's, or some BIG rallyes from Wheel Vintiques.

Thanks to all that checked out the page, and left constructive feedback. I really appreciate it. Check back to the site every once in awhile for updates. If I'm lucky, and LS6 will be in my future.

Then, of course, it'll go from "simple" to money pit, real fast!

And your car is where?
You've been here for a while, and you contribute little to no USEFUL info on this site. Hell, I remember you trying to call me out in the lounge a while back. You got punked by everyone then, and it will happen again. Run along now, and stick to your Honda forums.
Oh, and MY car is in my sig. It's the green one that was in Super Chevy, Camaro Performers, and Popular Hot Rodding, and it isn't even finished yet.
