Brake Compatibility

OK, on my 1969 Camaro I intend on putting front disc brakes on it. My uncle gave me a 1974 El Camino and it has front disc brakes. Is it possible to just pull those off and put them on the Camaro or an I gonna find that they won't work and it's just a waste of time.

I was given the el camino for the engine, but i thought that I may be able to use more than that.

OK, that was the same thing I was thinking-but just wanted to make sure. Well, I guess it's worth a try.
