ok,first thing i want out of the car is going to be the stock shifter.in my old 81,i had a b&m shifter,i have no idea what kind it was or where it came from.the guy i bought the car from said it was a"ratchet"shifter.i had to lift it out of park,and it would drop into gear,passing R,and N unless i stopped on it.when the shifetr dropped into D,i would have to manually drop it to 2nd,then 1st.

i loved that shifter if anyone has one for sale,or knows where i can get one,or even the proper name or part # i woul dbe very greatful.the shifter also fit perfectly into the stock console,with a chrome B&M trim plate.
