BBC CSI water pump + LWP pulleys?
I have a Big Block Chevy with a Long water Pump..
I want to change to a CSI electric water pump, and still run my alternator and power steering off the crank pulley...
It looks like all of the LWP alternator brackets for on the passanger side of the engine bolt onto the Water pump, and won't work with the aftermarket electric water pump.
Even better yet would be to replace the V-belts with the march serpentine style pulleys & belts, running one for the alternator and one for power steering. But it looks like the alternator brackets won't work.
Anyone running a BBC with a Long Water Pump and change to an electric water pump? What aftermarket pulleys and brackets would i get?
I'm considering buying what i know i want to run, then maybe having a machine shop custom fab an alternator bracket for me if i can't find one that will work?
