? about body bushings
I dunno about a 68, but I doubt it's much different than my 79...
****, now i can't remember. It's dead easy though.
I think I jacked one side of the car up at a time and put it on stands. Then used my floor jack under the part of the subframe that runs beneath the cab of the car. I undid the two bolts and gently let the jack down, slipped the old bushings out, and the new ones in, aligned it and torqued them. did the same thing on the other side. Then did the rad supports, no jacking needed for me there at all. The bushings were so worn (or the bolts so loose) i could move the bushings around with them still 'secured'. So u just undid the bolt, slipped in the new ones, and torqued it up. Simple as hell, and one of the largest differences i've ever noticed from my car. No subframe connectors, just those bushings and it feels so stiff.
Good luck.
