78' Engine
78' Engine
Anyone know where I can find a working motor to drop into a 78' Camaro Type LT? Dunno if the type matters or not, just thought maybe there was some correlation between type and size of the engine bay or something...
Like I way saying, I need a decently priced motor (anything that makes it go zoom) and also, possibly, a place to get a good tranny from... i'm trying to budget this at around 6-7 large so bear with me fellas!
I'm located in Los Angeles, California if that helps. Thanks a lot guys.

I'm guessing that you have emissions to meet.
Maybe this crate engine from GM would do? The 'performance' version makes 285hp, which would put your camaro in the 14's.
Here are some more GM crate engines, but they are 'off-road' only.
With that car you can fit any size engine. Want 572 cubic inches? While it won't fit your budget, it'll easily fit in the engine bay
