1981 tranny's

I'm currently looking at a 1981 Camaro for sale near my house for $1500, and was wondering how to tell exactly which transmission it has. Thank you!

If it's an automatic, I think the TH350 3-speed is the only automatic they used in Camaros by '81. If it's a 4-speed, probably a Saginaw 4-speed (garbage trannies, apparently ), but it could be the Borg-Warner T-10 which is supposed to be a pretty good tranny, AFAIK.
