1969 Camaro Frame Rails
"69 frame rails"
hello all, this is my first post to this forum.
i just bought a '69 camaro X-44 standard coupe for a project i'm gonna do with my son. it needs a lot of unibody work. frame rails, floorboards.... a lot of these parts came with the car.
i've got a couple of questions for anyone who's re-done a '69:
1.) i've got a set of clean original frame rails, but i don't know if i should go stock or upgrade to a newer setup(it's not a numbers-matching car anyway). anyone know a better way? I've seen an add-on bracket available that ties both rails together and has upper mounts for the shocks. Good idea?
2.)i can't find any info on the '69 unibody assembly, dimensions, indexing methods anywhere. anyone know a source?
TIA,
Jogasz28
