Re: WTB: modded LT1 car

Hey Jeff, heater and AC delete are ok with me if the car is priced accordingly since that makes it tougher to drive in the cooler weather up here.

As for speed....a 10 sec car is preferable, but the right 11sec car would be fine too.

Drop me an email at jhsformula@aol.com with the details. I assume you are talking about your car

Thanks, Jason

Pictures of car and cage can be seen at www.inthestixracing.com

Brand New Corbeau Forza Seats and 3” 5-point Corbeau Harnesses (never used)
Still have stock Seats

This car is immaculate. I picked it up from the dealership in March of 97. Only flaw is in the carpet under the dash on the driver’s side from a shorted wire (had a wire come loose on the line lock). The car currently doesn’t have the heat or AC in it (still have everything off of car except the compressor). Will include all stock parts wanted. Garaged and covered from day one, never smoked in, and has only seen rain 3 or 4 times.

Car will run 6.30’s in the eighth at 113-115 all day long on a 225-250 hit running 110 octane on drag radials. Motor was tuned conservatively on pump gas and set for open loop with a 12.5 AFR. Nitrous has been used on a conservative tune also. If leaned on, 6-teens in the 1/8 should be no problem. Car will easily run 9’s if geared. This car is a great street car too. Never runs hot. If necessary, you can drive it to work occasionally and pretty much stomp anything on the way home.

If needed, some sort of arrangement can be made to prove this car’s performance.

Will include two 10 pound bottles, LT1 Edit Software and Laptop, anything else I have for the car, and a NX EFI nitours kit (solenoids, fogger, and jets for 150 shot if wanted).

Perfect ready to street drag car.

Asking $22,000
Other pictures than provided in the link above are available on request.

Please email me with any reasonable offers or inquiries.

Re: WTB: modded LT1 car

Jason-
Shoot me a PM of what kind of price range you are thinking about. Ive been thinking here and there about getting rid of mine and starting over again with a c5. I have a 5 inch thick folder of receipts.

Car is mint, SS hood and spoiler, WW kit, 78k miles
Fresh t56, new street twin
Practically new all forged 383, 4 bolt, billet front and rears, miloden pan, ATI
210 AI AFRs
Your single plane,
Solid Roller and top line valvetrain
12 bolt, 4.33
Full suspension, exhaust, all the little stuff etc etc etc

While I dont have the numbers yet, should be a 10.60ish car as it sits full weight. It does NOT have a cage though, so thats something to consider.
