WTB LT1 T/A - Testing the waters
Well since I spun a bearing in my 1992 Firebird I am guaging interest in going 4thgen. I don't have a lot of money, but I absolutely love the LT1-year Trans Ams. I've been looking here, autotrader, and ebay lately... I know winter is the best time to buy an F-body too.
- Just lookin for an LT1 Trans Am, any color but preferably not white.
- Transmission doesn't matter much but I prefer an M6- I drive a 700r4 now.
- Options? Well I'd love T-tops or even a 'vert, but it's based off what I can afford. Air conditioning is a must on a hard top though- summers get hot.
- Paint and body? Well, now there's something I actually WANT sub-par. I am enrolled in autobody classes this semester, so anything that is easy enough for an amateur to fix, the cosmetic flaws don't matter that much.
It would take me a little while to come up with any sort of money, because I still have a lot of begging to do with my dad for a loan. I'm only 20 so I can't just get whatever I need yet. I'm not what most people would call "financially self-supported" now that I quit my 40 hour job to go back to school. I'll have to sell my car, plus I have a ton of parts to go with it (eibach sportlines; Spohn parts- wonderbar, SFCs, LCAs, ReLos; S10 torque converter, and more). This thread is simply me seeing what's out there really. Sorry if I wasted your time
