WTB 94+ project

The local salvage auction is a little slow so I'm kinda looking for a 94+ v8 f-body project to fix back up. Pretty much looking for an Lt1 since they're going to be more affordable for me but I'll def. consider a LS1 car if the price is right. Repairable wrecks are good, I can deal with a little frame damage so long as it can be fixed. Would also consider a car with a blown motor etc. I am looking for a complete car but feel free to offer up a roller just so long as it's only missing the motor/trans or something, no stripped out shells. I'm not really in a hurry to get one either, but I think it's a good time to start looking around for another since my latest fixer upper is pretty much done.
Price wise I'm kinda shootin for the $2000 or less range.
Really doesn't matter but some things that would be a bonus are:
6-speed
t-tops or vert
trans am

Anyway, just post, pm or email me at jscherp@clemson.edu and let me know what you have.
thanks

oh yea, I'm in SC so I would prefer something fairly close, like SC, GA, NC as I just don't have time for a big road trip to look at a car.

Yea Il is a hell of a roadtrip and I won't have time for a trip like that for a few more weeks anyway. Thanks though and good luck with it.

I have a 1994 camaro z28.

The cars odometer reads 87k but there is a 1996 lt1 with 61k that replaced the existing motor.

The transmission is a 1995 4l60e built with race frictions and steels, the beast reaction shell, a 29 element input sprag, a 10 vane pump, hi performance kevlar band, an elevated pressure regulator spring, and a trans go HD2-C reprogramming kit. The converter is stalled to 2400 rpms. Less than 2k miles.

Pacesetter Longtube headers with emissions provisions( I have brass plugs in them. Less than 2k miles

Pacesetter Off road y-pipe. Less than 2k miles

Flowmaster 80 series American thunder catback. Less than 5k miles

New 255 walbro fuel pump. Less than 2k miles

I also have a extra oil pan, and throttle body and pcm from a 97. I also have 4 salad shooters(stock rims)

I also have a 4 bolt main corvette block that needs to be shot peened due to surface rust, but still usable.

The car does not have a title because when I bought it I was given a legitimate clear title but when I brought it back to NY I was sent a letter from the DMV that is was a flood salvage. In NY you have to have the car inspected by the actual department of motor vehicles when you bring a salvage car from out of state so with no emissions and added parts I didnt want to buy a bunch of new stuff so here it waits for a new home. The car is perfect for a drag car or autocross. I have the stock headers and a ypipe if you would like to use them to get a inspection done to make it road legal.

The paint is a 6 out of ten because of age and scuffs, no peeling.

The car does throw a check engine light only because of the LT headers and egr delete.

The engine came from Jason Short here on the board who is highly reputable if you would like to verify condition of motor. All installation was done by Chris Wilson who occasionally visits here but is used by many people who live in upstate NY. The car does drive just fine and all I would need to due is hook the battery up. Ill try to get some pictures for you if you would like.

Make offer!

Chris
