Hi all, it's been a long time since I've been on here regularly (mostly because I forgot my password years ago), but also because life got busy.

I'm hoping to find a '97 purple Z28 to buy that ticks all of my dream Camaro boxes:

• hardtop (no t-tops preferred, and not a convertible)
• automatic preferred, but manual is okay
• gray/black interior (not beige)
• mods might be okay, but I'd prefer unmodified
• low mileage preferred unless the car has had a restoration of sorts and that restoration didn't result in the car getting a big lumpy cam, the cats removed, etc.

I'm not interested in a cheap fixer upper. I want one that's always been garaged, taken care of, and still looks like a new 20 year old car.

I've toyed with the idea of just finding a '96 black Z28 just like what I want and getting it repainted, but I'm no fool--I know how much paint costs. The idea of this is appealing, because I actually prefer the '96 dash design over '97, as well as the seats and Bose speakers. But if you're trying to sell a '96 black Z28 with the Bose CD player and speakers, an automatic transmission, and low miles, I could be interested.
