Want: 85-92 Camaro, Have 82 T/A for trade
Hello. I've been trying to trade my T/A locally and thought why not put out an ad here too. Here's the good and the bad on my car
1982 Trans Am, Medium Garnet Red with Black Interior, 120,000 miles. LU5 motor. Intake swapped from Crossfire F.I. to Edlebrock Performer 1406 600 cfm carb and Edlebrock Torker II intake manifold (I know this mainfold isnt good for this car, but its all Ive got right now) TH350 Trans with shift kit installed. Shifts really firm, but not break neak hard. Exhaust is original and intact (no holes or leaks) Rear end has been re-geared to 3.73, but it is a one legger (no Posi) Heater core has let go and needs replacing, I by-passed it for now so car has no heat. AC was removed by previous owner, all thats left is box on the firewall. No body rust at all. Only dent on the whole car is a small bulge in the hood near the factory cowl. Passenger door was replaced by a Camaro door and gfx holes are still present and need to be filled. I painted the door to match, but its not perfect. Car could use new paint as clear coat is flaking in spots on the hood. Interior is almost mint. Power windows, Power Door locks, Power Mirrors. Only needs drivers seat to be re-apholstered (3 inch tear along side) Has rare PMD seats. Also has tear in top of drivers door (about 5 inches) Could use new steering wheel or cover(its pretty worn) Dash and center consol pad are perfect, no tears, cracks, or fading. Just had rear brakes and parking brake cable replaced last summer. 2 seals on rear axle were also replaced. Like I said, this car is mechanically sound and in even better shape visually and my daily driver for the summer.
I'd like to trade for nearly any V8 Camaro between 85-92. Id prefer an 89 IROC but will settle on a Z28 or RS if need be. Fuel injection also prefered. Milage is of no concern to me as long as the car runs strong and is not in need of any major mechanical repairs that prevent normal drivability. Body can have dents and/or rust as long as body panels are workable. No holes or rot or mangled fenders please.
Im located in Southern New Hampshire. Thanks for taking the time to read my novel here.

Re: Want: 85-92 Camaro, Have 82 T/A for trade
I have a 91 Z28 with a rebuilt 305 TPI in it. As far as I know that engine has about 80000 miles on it and runs great. I drive it daily and have had to put a new starter, alternator, and battery in it. That is it. It does have new shocks in the back. It has factory gray leather seats as well as t-tops. Seats look and feel good. The front seats are a little worn with a few wrinkles but no tears or holes. The rear seats look and feel absolutely brand new. I painted the plastics in the car black to match the dash. The speaker covers in the back have been covered in red suede, as well as the kick panels in the front corners by the floor. It has gray carpet still-never got around to changing it to black and does not have a headliner-the old one was sagging. I was going to replace it with a black one. Everything works fins even the cold AC. Has new p255-50R 16’s in the back and the front tires are decent. There is a small dent that could probably be pulled out on the driver’s side between the door and wheels well. It’s not very noticeable when the car is cleaned up nice. For the most part the paint shines pretty well in most areas. The hood could use a new spray due to stone chips. Overall its a very solid car, doesn’t smoke on startup, doesn’t burn any oil or have any funny smells, it’s got a flowmaster 40 series muffler that sounds really good. Sturdy and solid car but needs very little TLC. Would make a perfect quick fixer upper to drive around. I'm selling it because I don’t have a nickel to put it and I don’t want to see it start to show. It's a real nice car. No rust at all. Never been in a winter as far as I know. I paid 3,800 for it and had put about 600 into it with tax, title fees, plate fee, and parts. All I want is close to what I have into it so I’m asking 4,000 obo. Let me know if you’re interested. Oh, I live near Saginaw, Michigan, and have lots of pictures, and can take some more pictures of anything you want to see also.
