Need a 1990-1992 Camaro
Im searching for a NICE, semi-stock 90-92 V8 TPI camaro. I dont care if its a 305 or a 350, i prefer a 350. It has to be TPI though. I want the internal engine parts to be stock though. I dont want a modded car thats been raced and abused. Im looking for a nice stock camaro. Mods such as exhaust and such dont bother me. Im looking to spend around $4000.00. Im currently deployed to Iraq outta Ft. Bragg NC and Ill be coming home in mid-October from a 10 month deployement. I have the money. All I need from you is the car. Please help out a soldier out here. Thank you
Josh

Do you have any pics? Im in Iraq right now and Ill be back to North Carolina towards the latter part of October. What else is needed to finish the interior? how bad is the windshield?
Re: Need a 1990-1992 Camaro
In Sacramento california, have a 1991 Z28 Convertible - V8 305 TPI with dealership purchased new engine w/30,000 miles.Alsoh as new Fuel Inj's and a new top(2 yrs old) & new tires. Runs so sweet it's sick. Car is in immaculate condition having been garaged for life -I'm 2nd owner, my aunt was 1st! It's Candy Apple Red/Maroon w/black top and tan interior. I have receipts for everything too...& Maintained @ dealership, exceot this year had the new Fuel Injectors done at high performance racing shop nearby. She runs clean & fast! If interested I'll send you photo's, via e-mail. E-mail me (w/Z28 in subject line) @ judithmason@comcast.net or call 916-412-2840
Need to sell fast as I'm moving to NY in early Oct. (Flying back sorry - can't drive it to you!) Sacrifice for $5500 to the first buyer with the $$$

Re: Need a 1990-1992 Camaro
I've got a really nice 1992 Z28 in the Northern Virginia area. Here are some specs...I'll have pic's in a couple of days.
Mileage: 87,xxx (original)
Body: Hard Top
Color: Black w/ Red Cloth Interior
Engine: 305 TPI (bone stock, never been opened up)
Trans: World Class T-5 Manual - Less than 500 miles on rebuild, new torque arm and tranny mounts too.
Shifter: Pro/5.0 (I also have the stock one)
Clutch: Brand new GM, New GM clutch cylinder too
Brakes: 4-whl disk (G92 option code - 1LE rear brakes) all new
Rear end: stock 3.42 posi
Suspension: Eibach lowering springs (1" all around) - nice stance. Tokico shocks all around. Spohn adjustable panhard bar. Great handing car!
Exhaust: stock stainless dual-cat setup
Tires: New Kumho 245/55 R16 on stock 5-spoke wheels
Condition:
Body is very clean. There are a few areas that have been professionally repainted over the years, but all the horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, rear deck lid) are all original paint in excellent condition for a 13 year old car. The doors and some of the fenders/quarters were repainted at some point before I owned the car, and they shine nicely but have a few dings here and there. Most importantly: NO RUST ANYWHERE.
Interior is very nice - new headliner, clean carpet, no leaks or bad smells. New stereo system too.
Engine: Starts right up, passes emissions, runs like a stock 305TPI should run...no better, no worse. It is in very nice condition, visually. It won't set any speed records these days compared to the LS1 cars.
Overall: Just passed emissions and inspection in Northern VA - very strict.
This is probably the most stock 1992 Camaro you'll ever find that wasn't stored away in a garage by a collector back in '92! It's only aftermarket piece is a (brand new) Kenwood CD stereo system w/ new speakers, and a K&N air filter setup.
This is a G92 option code car, which is kind of like the 1LE or B4C option codes, but does not have the big 1LE front brakes. It does have the nice dual cat setup though, as well as the good rear disk brakes. Also has the 140MPH speedometer. The 5sp cars from 1992 also had a higher HP rating than the automatics - 230HP I believe - and a higher redline on the tach by 500rpm.
Car has been garaged for the past few years, and I only have put about 1000 miles on it over the last year. My garage is just too tight for my current projects.
I am asking $5000 OBO. Like I said, I should have pics available soon. Please email me if you want 'em.
