I am just trying to get an idea of how much I need to save up. I want to eventually restore/rebuild a 1998 or newer trans am. The first step to that would of course be to find a 1998 or newer trans am. I don't need an engine; I don't need a transmission; I don't even need an interior. I just need the body. Any clue how much that would cost me?

Alternatively, I considered maybe getting a 1998+ Firebird body and then getting the Trans Am Spoiler, maybe that'd be cheaper?


I'm not looking to buy anything this exact second but in the near future. Give me an estimate on how much you guys think I should be looking to spend. I don't care about the paint condition of the car since I will be stripping it completely and repainting it.
