I have $12k +/- to spend on a car, looking at a Z28.

MUST BE 98 or newer, MANUAL, reasonably low miles, Z28 or SS or T/A

prefer: black, silver, white, dark blue, dark green; leather interior

Would like to stay within 3 hours of my area and if possible avoid NYC or long island because previous car search treks to those places have annoyed me, but if a good deal in those areas comes up I will travel there too.

Sorry, but I'm a much bigger fan of (in my opinion) the much cleaner look of the front end of the 98+ cars. Thanks for the offer though.

 

I've got a '00 Hawk with 40k miles. Interrior is in perfect condition, no rips or tears. Comes with the firehawk floor mats, firehawk plaque on ashtray door, illuminated red lights on door handles inside (a firehawk thing i suppose?). Of course it has leather seats, its a black on black car, t-tops, 6 speed, factory monsoon cd player, bilstein suspension. Its got a strut bar, edelbrock shorty headers, SLP Loudmouth exhaust (still has cats). The rear end was rebuilt right before I picked it up from Pottsville, PA. I purchased the car about a month or so ago, and am already looking to get rid of it. Trying to get into a new house, can't really afford the insurance like I thought I could (totalled my red WS6, and the insurance company is just now starting to hammer me). I know that the firehawks are far and few between, and I hate to see it go, but it's what has to be done. I paid $17k for it, and am willing to take $16k but thats the absolute farthest I can go.
