Re: 69 maro

Mine is not for sale anymore, decided to spend $20k restoring it, lucky I own a shop!

But, I can get my hands on a driver that needs a restore but its in better shape than mine, but last I talked to the guy he wanted $21k for it. They have gotten real popular as if you didnt already know that!

mine was for sale>> http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=470561

Whats a ball park figure you would like to spend? When you own one, lots of people mention they have one sitting around, or know where one is for sale, thats how I found out about a few others, but they are all pretty high priced but well worht it, just look at a restored one on e-bay!

YES THATS TRUE BUT WHEN YOU BUY A RESTORED MUSCLE CARIT TAKES AWAY THE SENTIMENTAL VALUE AWAY FROM THE CAR. YOU FOLLOW ME. NOW WHEN YOUR CAR STARTS AS A PIECE OF CRAP, AND YOU SEND SAY A YEAR/TWO REBUILDING IT AND WORKING ON IT YOURSELF, THEN WHEN ITS DONE AND EVERWHERE YOU GO SOMEONE ALWAYS SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CAR, THAT IS AN IRREPLACEABLE FEELING. KNOW WHAT I MEAN? AS FAR AS PRICE, DEPENDING ON THE CONDITION OF THE CAR AND EVERYTHING ELSE I WOULD GO AS FAR AS SAY 2500 FOR A DECENT BODY, WITH AN ENGINE THATS NOT IN GREAT CONDITION, I SAY THAT ONLY BECAUSE IM NOT KEEPING THE STOCK ENGINE IN THE CAR ANYWAYS SO..... REALL ALL IM LOKKING FOR IS EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE ENGINE AND TRANNY, BUT IF THEY COME WITH THE CAR FOR A GOOD PRICE THEN ILL TAKE IT. DONT GET ME WRONG I APPRECIATE THE ADVICE I JUST HAVE A SEST IDEA OF WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH THE CAR.

All of those look like they have potential. The last one isn't too far from you, just north of Atlanta.

They're around, you just have to look for them.

Edit: if you would settle for a 68 there are some great deals out there.

10k the car doesnt even have an engine..... nor is it completely painted...... like i said price is not the issue as long as the car is worth it, the stock engine for that car is 3k min........ but im just saying im not paying 10k 8/10ths of a car.... know what i mean. i mean the hood is 2500 by itself! so i mean thats a little steep from what i can see in the pics. i apreciate the offer though.

Good point. Mine needed lots, like the whole car behind the door jambs was replaced. When it gets out of the bodyshop I am starting with the wiring harness, new. Then part by part I will put it back together. I will know the car completely, and that is what I am looking forward to.

No problem.......just remember when you are looking at those $5-6k "good deals" that need floor/rear/roof body work, $50-60 an hour adds up very fast....... my car has had 5k in body work as it sits and the floors and trunk were solid to begin with and did not need any repair.
