WTT: 01 Lightning for LT1 Trans Am

Basically I'm looking to get back into a Trans Am. I love my Lightning and it's been fun owning it but I'm more of a car guy. Here's the run down:
It's an 01 red Lightning with 49K miles right now. Truck has the following mods:
Apten ported blower
6# lower pulley
Ported upper intake
C&L plenum
JLP CAI
FTVB
NGK TR6 Plugs
55# injectors
255 Fuel pumps
Heat Exchanger
Mac Cat-back
Custom Predator Tune by RWTD (Comes with the Predator)
Lower control arms
2" lowering shackles
Autometer Lunar series gauges - Vac/Boost, Fuel Pressure, and Trans temp
Shortened antenna
5% tint all around
Soft Tonneau cover
Bed mat
Accetoned (chrome) Badges
Also has the towing package
Your choice of aftermarket Pioneer CD player that is in there now or the factory stereo with tape player and 6 disk changer located behind passenger seat.

It ran a 8.9@79mph when it was stock last year on the F1's with a 2.1 60' in 90* weather. It has not been back to the track since, I'm waiting for cooler weather. I have some stock parts that you can have.

Going to ask $23,500 obo to sell it out right with everything on it or show me what you've got on a trade.

This is the only current pic that I have. I will post more when the weather clears up and it's cleaned.

Please email me pics to quick98vette@hotmail.com. What kind of problems have you had if any? I noticed in your sig it says "Runs like a champ now!!!", just wondering what that meant.

I will also try and get some new pics now that the 2" shackles are installed.

Your car would go nicely with my 03 Cobra vert that is black with a tan top.

I'm also going to send you a PM with my number incase you want to know anymore info about the truck.

Re: WTT: 01 Lightning for LT1 Trans Am

The only problems that I have encountered was when i replaced the old wires and plugs...napa gave me the wrong size wire which choked the current goin to my engine so it misfired, i dint kno what the problem was so i ended up investing 2000 dollars for new stuff like plugs wires opti fuel filter and injectors water pump o2 sensors and the list goes on. Well i finally got some factory gm wires and now the car is back to the way she use to be. Im going to a car show today so ill be taking plenty of pics and will send them to u asap!

Why don't you run the thing in the heat? Be alot easier to move if you had some current times.

IMO, it would take an exceptional LT1 Camaro & $13K...maybe to even consider trading that truck.

LT1's...dime a dozen...your Lightning, rare and just like my Lightning, faster than most LT1's floating around.

Good luck though.

I would love to get some times with it but I live in the middle of Texas. Our 1/8th mile track elevation is at 1720'. DA lately has been over 4000' with the heat. It's in the upper 90's when the track opens and cools to the lower 90's when they close at 11pm. To me, there is no point in beating on my L when there is no way possible that it will run close to it's potential. There is no doubt in my mind that this truck will run at least mid 12's when the when the weather is cooler.
