Arrow Wrecked 95 TA

I'm not sure yet whether I will buy it back from the insurance company, but if there is enough interest, I might do it.

Car has less than 83K miles and has less than year old brand new (not rebuilt) GM tranny (still under warranty), pretty much perfect tan leather interior. No stereo. Has factory speakers in the hatch panels, though.

Everything from the A-pillars back is undamaged (just a minor dent on passenger side rear quarter). Doors, t-tops and rear hatch work fine.

Pics of the car before the wreck can be seen here and after pics are here.

What is something like that worth? Any offers?

TS

Hard to say what its worth without being able to see it in person and know what all will need replaced... but do you know what the buyback is? Depending on price I might be interested, but not sure what Id offer.

Re: Wrecked 95 TA

Well, I don't think it would make any sense for somebody to fix it. If I would sell it as a whole, I guess I would need to get about $3K for it. The parts would alone be worth more than that, I'm sure.

I guess I will actually just part it out. Creates a bit more hassle, though.

Re: Wrecked 95 TA

You'll definetly get more parted, but I've fixed worse myself. I could fix it myself for under 1k, but then u got 3k for the car, shipping, etc... not really worth it to me for a car that would have an r-title and maybe worth in the 5k range with the r-title. Thanks!

If somebody wants to buy the car for $3K as it sits, just let me know. Otherwise I'll start parting it out shortly.

As long as I can get the engine and tranny out of there, I don't think there's going to be much trouble. We'll see...

LOL, then you got boxing/shipping stuff... trust me, done it many times, you'll see how much time is really involved!

I still think its too nice of a car to part, should be fixed, good mileage, nice clean car, but thats your call.

Sure, it'll take some time and effort to do all that, but since it'll be on the side for some extra $$$, I'm not going to start counting my hours. If I would, I wouldn't buy it back.

I do not have the means and especially the $$$ to fix it. Unfortunately... The money left over (~$2500) from paying it off to my credit union and buying it back will definetely not fix it properly.

I'm pretty sure I'll part it out, but if somebody wants to make an offer, let me know.

Re: Wrecked 95 TA

I understand what your saying... I was just pointing out that he made a valid point. Factor in the buyback cost, then the time you'll have involved, I know my times worth something, it doesn't break down to alot of profit. If i didnt have to factor in shipping then it might be worth it for me... but just too much $ involved.

Re: Wrecked 95 TA

Yes, definetely time consuming and if I'd count each and every hour I'll be working on parting it, answering emails/PM's/phone calls, packaging, shipping etc., I don't think I would make any money off it.

But..., it keeps me out of trouble, I guess.

So, anybody want to save me some effort and be interested in buying it as a complete car?

Re: Wrecked 95 TA

The car is now mine. Any offers on the complete car?

LOTS of good parts there! As mentioned above, everything from the A-pillars back is pretty much perfect (save for the airbags and the small dent on passenger rear quarter).

Only performance mods are SLP CAI and an aftermarket muffler (not sure of the brand since it was on the car when I bought it).

95GRNZ,

Just a question out of curiosity, how much do you think it would run to get all the seats shipped to Finland? (Or then to Florida)?

Hmmm...

I have no idea. Maybe a couple of hundred bucks to Finland and a bit less to FL.
