Re: for sale 93 Z28

I beleive this car is a prime canidate for a fire and insurance payoff deal.
Its been for sale for a year now and is prabably the most releiabale car on here. But it seem only cars that get interest is ones with blowed up motors,no interior,or just fix upable junk?
Doesn't anyone need a decent car to drive anymore?

Exactly, for a car that is 12 years old with over 100k on it...6k isnt gonna happen. With 100k your looking at 4500ISH

Re: for sale 93 Z28

Thats low miles for that year plus I only put 12000 on it in 3.5 years.
That price is OBO also.
If someone thinks there going to get a nice Z28 with wheels, stereo, air works and hasen't been ragged by a 16 year old all its life for $4500.....Well ain't going to happen.

Look around the site bro. Not trying to flame you or **** you off but cars go for a lot less than people think they are worth on the used car market. If you want 6000 hold out for someone willing to pay it. If you want to move it fast the price needs to drop a bit.

tim h 6 grand isnt that far out of wack, i sold my 94z with 116 grand on it for 6800, the average 3.8 6 cyl is going for 3-5 grand so what makes u think he is unjust for 6 grand, ya u see 4 r 5 thousand dollar z28 and such all over over the sites but u gotta go look,, if someone is asking 4 grand for thier 4th gen z than believe me its a 4 thousand doller 4th gen v8 that will need everything. meangreen u dont sound like u have a clue, "no flame intended" but what the hell do u really know about buying and selling f bodies n e way? u just remind me of some cockey punk who "got his hands" on some beat up 97 z for dirt cheap and u think ur gonna tell n e one how its gonna be or what the "standards" are, i mean i could be way off here but this is just a vibe i am getting, its nearly impossible to find one thats never been hit or repainted or beat, the ones that are usually go for the 4-5 thousand $ range

lol well just MAKE SURE u run those fingers on those quarter panel lips to see if they have been replaced, u will see the new seams, also u will notice on the original rocker panels there will be like 3 or 4 little triangular shaped drain holes at the bottom, if u dont notice them they have been replaced, also check that door jam seem real well, not to seem like a know it all but i have seen alot and sold alot, i literally bought cars that where still wrapped around a poll made them look flawless and sell them for a grand or so less than what a mint one goes for.....

I sure as hell wish i could find the people willing to pay that..

Ive had 4 4th Gen's all LT1 powered with under 100k on the clock (slightly ) and i cant get a penny over $5000.00 and mine were owned almost since brand new by family members or friends.

hell send some of that action my way PLZ.

oh BTW the Blue book on this car for sale is $3,335

Nada is $4000.00 (which is the most unrealistic pricing system in the world)

Fair Market Value: $3,215

Good luck

Re: for sale 93 Z28

Thats very strange I just looked at NADA and it says average is $5125,and the $125 is a milage plus for low mileage for that year.
I would take the wheels, stereo and all the add ons off and take that price!

That would be really nice if it worked like that. My NADA values are 6225 for average and 5000 for low... I think I'll have a hard time getting 4500 out of it. Srry for posting here, didn't expect to do it so much. Best of luck to ya and me .

why doesnt anyone know how to use Nada..

Private Sale price as an unspoken rule is Low End (which is still rediculous) Nada seems fine and dandy when your trying to sell a car, but you wouldnt go by it when trying to buy one.

KBB atleast locally is what most cars ive bought or sold coheered with.

Even Nada List's it @ $4025. Never the less its your car and good luck.

Considering I've owned 6 f-bodies and 4 of them have been 4th gens.... bought 3 of them on this site, I think I might know how much they are worth. I bought my 93 Z almost 3 years ago on this site. Good paint, no accidents, clean interior, and had 113K miles on it for 3500$. My 97Z had 50K on it when I bought it in 2000 and I paid 10K. That's five year ago and I paid 10K. Perfect car with absolutely no problems, 50K miles...... I have no clue right? I'm not saying the car isnt worth 6000$... i'm saying that it is going to be hard as hell to sell it for 6 when you can wait two weeks and someone is going to sell a newer year model with more mods and around the same miles for 5000$. And the thing about me being a young punk that doesnt know what the hell he is talking about.... considering this is my second tour in OIF and having had my 10 year high school reunion recently ..... ya, whatever.
