Hi All, I 'm selling my 2001 Camaro SS. I've recently had surgery, have been denied disability, had my work hours cut and can no longer afford to keep and make payments on my dreamcar.
I am the second owner. I bought the camaro from a dealership in Virgina last September with 38,000 miles. It now has 41,400. I've babied and pampered this camaro as did the previous owner who kept the car as a collectors car before deciding to trade it in. It will make its new owner very proud.
The book values seem ambiguous so I'm offering it for $15,000 which is below KBB low book value. This is prettty much my rock bottom price.
I have the title, as I never registered the SS and I may have to return it to the finance comapny with the final payment but they might let me keep it thus not having to wait a week to get it back to you. However, you will take the Camaro home with you with a Bill of Sale.
The only problem this camaro has ever had was to change the factory glued-in u-joint to the standard clip-in style hi-performance u-joint. This is a common problem for camaros and corvettes if the u-joint shifts in the driveline. The differential may need carrier bearings in the future from this condition, so I went ahead and bought a new Motive Performance Ring & Pinion which is the same stock 3.23. It is still brand new in the box and you will receive this as well.
