Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
Im just trying to see how much i can get for my z28.
Its hugger orange, but needs paint. Has a primer spot on the rear quarter and has a few sanded spots throughout the drivers side.
It has Chrome 17in Zr1's with great tires. 125k miles
The interior is good. Has the normal wear or a 12 year old car.

Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
Since, after all, you said you are trying to see how much you can get for your Z, I guess I'll throw in my 2 cents.
Your asking price is WAY too much for a car in that condition. Just look around, even on this board, and you'll see 95-96 Z28's with similar, or lower, miles but not in need of paint job, with asking prices lower than yours.
You did say, OBO, so... Based on your pictures and description, if it runs and drives good, I'll offer you $2000 for it. If it turns out to be in better shape in person than what it looks in the pictures, maybe a bit more.
I'm not trying to lowball you or throwing the number out there just for the hell of it, I am actually looking for a car to replace my totalled TA.

Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
i actually paid 2600 for it. Mechanically its perfect. Just cosmetically needs some work. I mean i know that price was steep i just knew i had to throw a price so i would get input. i wouldnt take 2 i wouldnt take 2500. I prolly wouldnt take 3 considering i have fixed alot so far. Just needed input.
Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
I'll give $3000 or less for it, I live in missouri so its easy pick-up. work with me on this. My e-mail is aaronloveskrystal@yahoo.com
Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
no no and no. The wheels stay on. The miles are 125k. and your not even going to get my attention till at least 3500. One this is my best friends car, two i know what these car blue book and i know how it runs. He probably wouldnt even take 3500 seeing how good it runs. so when you guys can learn the value of a good running car then let me know.
Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
So, is this your or your friend's car?
Also, since you brought up the "book value" of these cars, let's see... Hmmm... According to kbb.com, a fully loaded (not sure if yours/his is, though, so I did check all option that were available for the F-bodies) 94 Z28 w/125Kmiles in "fair" condition brings up a value of $3330 in my Zip code.
Description of "fair" condition is pretty accurate for this car, I think.
Factor in some bargaining and you are very close to 3K. So..., if somebody offers you, or who ever actually owns the car, $3K, you/he might want to really consider taking it.
Unless you have lots of time to wait for the right buyer, or course.
Anyway... My offer still stands.
Good luck selling it.

"Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.

Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
Yes i know all about purchasing cars off here. I just got back from buying one. I bought the orange one from the internet. You really cant factor in the gas price other than i would offer to fill the tank if you were driving back. Just wanted to see how much i could get. It is my best friends car, but i know more about it then he does. Like i said i replaced trans mount and some things here and there. It needs tlc. But i would trust it to drive all the way across the states.
Re: Orange 94 Z28, Quick!
...read the reply's...i dont necassarily want 5k for it. Just a price to throw out. Realisticly everyone says 3k but i cant really even get rid of it for that considering i will have to go hunt me down another one and drive to go get it. This thing runs perfectly fine and i think that if someone didnt mine alittle cosmetic work this would be a great car. Needs absolutely nothing mechanically.
