Really? Better tell that to the guys at the factory who built my 1987 IROC-Z 350TPI with t-tops!

 

6speedz28.....your iroc is a different story then his 91/92 Z28....they only came with T-tops and a 305. 5.7's are hard tops or convertables.

I have two 89 iroc's that where 5.7 TPI's with t-tops as well...

Well then color me wrong, I apologize for the sarcasm. What was the reason for that. I know the 350 could only be had with an auto because of the torque it made. So wouldn't a t-top car be more apt to handle the torque than a convertible?

 

'Verts didn't get the L98 either. Only the LB9, LO3 and the v6

L98/auto was a hardtop only option in 91/92 f-bodies
