I am selling my quasar blue 95 Formula. 93K two owner miles. It was garaged its whole life until the summer of 2006 when I moved to a house without a garage. Black leather with inflatable lumbar is in fantastic shape. Factory CD with steering wheel controls & 10 speakers sounds great. T-tops with the factory removable sun shades. Keyless entry with both remotes and all three original passkey ignition keys. Very reliable and just passed a dyno type smog test with flying colors.
It ran an altitude corrected 13.64 @ 100 mph last summer the only time it has been to the track in its entire life. I even let off at 1000 ft in a vane attempt to not break out and to fender the guy in the other lane.
It was unmodified when I purchased it from the original owner (an older gentleman who was moving to Arizona and couldn't take it with him). I have all the original parts in addition to a spare rear end and the stock transmission and torque converter that will come with the car.
Modifications all completed in the last year (over $4000 invested)
• New BFGoodrich g-Force Sport 245/50ZR16 Z-rated tires (only a couple hundred miles on them)
• Fresh 4L60E transmission with 500 rpm higher than stock stall converter
• LS1 aluminum driveshaft
• LS1 3.42 Eaton clutch type posi rear end with new axle bearings & seals
• Mobil 1 gear oil in differential
• Granatelli Motorsports sport springs (1-1/4” lower than stock)
• Boxed trailing arms
• Polyurethane torque arm bushing
• Polyurethane transmission mount
• Triangulated SLP style 2” square tube custom fabricated subframe connectors
• Mobil 1 engine oil with matching Corvette Mobil 1 fill cap on engine
• 3” mandrel bent polished aluminum cold air intake system
• Descreened MAF meter
• Bolt in polished aluminum throttle body air foil
• Billet aluminum engraved “Formula” throttle body top plate
• Hypertech 160˚ thermostat & reprogrammed fan temp ranges to match
• Regular green Prestone antifreeze (Dexcool replaced by original owner long ago)
• Bypassed throttle body coolant line
• MSD Blaster GM ignition coil
• MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor spark plug wires
• Bosch Platinum spark plugs
• MAC underdrive crank pulley with new Goodyear belt
• Hypertech power tuning with hand held flash programmer that comes with the car
I hate to sell the car because I really love it but I just don't have the time for it anymore with two small children, a new home to take care of and a new job demanding more of my time than ever before. I haven't put 100 miles on it in six months. I hate seeing it just sitting there in the driveway wanting to be driven and me not having the time to do it.
This car is going to make somebody very happy. It has been very well taken care of and is a rare find in this kind of condition. It can be driven anywhere in the country without fear of breakdown.
I just purchased some honeycomb tail lights for the car. They will be installed as soon as they arrive.
Price reduced to $6700. I can accept a partial trade on a transbrake T400, a 4000 stall converter for a 600 hp big block, a pair of poly drag seats or a 33-spline spool for a 12-bolt, maybe some other things I haven't thought of yet for my 68 Camaro project. Make me an offer.
I can email pictures upon request.
