1971 Camaro

This was originally a 307/auto, it's been swapped to a 350/M21 4 speed.

Engine has been recently rebuilt and is in good shape, has a bit of a cam, HEI ignition, edelbrock intake, holley 600 cfm 4 bbl, and headers w/ full dual exhaust. Dressed up with some chrome.

Tranny is an M21 4 speed, shifts good but I think it could use some bearings, it makes a bit of noise.

Has alot of new parts including tires, water pump, windshield, half the exhaust, etc

The body/chassis has alot of work and time into it. The front firewall has been closed up and a rear firewall added, fuel cell, the cage goes from bumper to bumper and ties into the body/chassis all over the place. The fender flares are all steel. The paint is flat black. No rust anywhere that I know of.

I wanted to put a custom interior into it, stick a lower geared rear end in for some more off the line go and make a street cruiser then eventually start racing it but I don't have the time to maintain and build 2 cars so it's gotta go.

Where did you get the flares from? Those are sweet.

 

The previous owner did the flares. They seem to be a love it or hate it thing, they're pretty well done tho. I think he used a piece of tubing to make the outer edge and then welded sheet steel in between the tubing and body and then smoothed up the joints.
