FS: 1997 Trans Am (Birmingham, AL)

1997 Trans Am, A4, T-tops
As much as I regret to do so, I think it is inevitable that I sell the Trans Am. I am upside down in my Yukon and need to trade it. I need both a lower payment and lower fuel costs at this time.
I bought it from a lady who drove it back and forth to school. She just got married and no longer needed a sports car. She was IMMACULATE with the service records and I still have every record of the car since she purchased it with 40,000 miles! Every oil change, every service, tires……..she even documented when she replaced wiper blades!
This car has always been garage kept and has run nothing but Mobile 1 Synthetic oil. I purchased the car with 121,000 miles, where most of them were due to travel back and forth from Birmingham to school in Troy. I have only put 6,000 miles on it in the last 2 years and it now has 127,000 miles.
The car was bone stock down to the paper air filter when I purchased it. Since then, I have added some of my own personal touches:
• Fully polished SLP CAI
• Polished Vortech elbow
• Jet-Hot coated Hooker long tube headers
• Mufflex 4” cat back with y-pipe (this alone was over $1,000)
• New GM optispark
• Messimere electric water pump
• MSD 8.5mm custom plug wires
• Billet Specialties over-the-cover wire looms (these look awesome with the polished CAI)
• ODBI conversion with MadZ28 tuning (still have the stock ODBII computer)
• Eibach springs (pro-kit)
• CHROME 17” Z06 wheels (not polished)
It would be hard to find a nicer LT1 Trans Am that has not been restored in some way. Even the driver’s seat does not have the typical bolster tear. The paint is not perfect, but is in very good shape for black that is over 10 years old. This car looks good inside and out, runs very strong, and sounds GREAT!
I am asking $6,500 for the car but will consider all reasonable offers. I can email more pictures if wanted. For quicker response, email me at bmealer@gmail.com. I may consider trades of something "economical" of equal value.

Yes, you are correct. It is an automatic car.
Bringing it back in to view! This is an awesome, babied, and fully service documented car. Always female or adult driven. This is one of the few that has never been ragged out, street raced, or thrown in a ditch.
I also have a 2002 GMC Yukon SLT for sale for $11,995. Its a fully loaded 2 wheel drive and is maroon with tan leather.

I will entertain trades on either the Trans Am, Yukon, or combination of both toward something reasonably economical (gas efficient) and preferably with 4 doors. Recently divorced and need something more sensible.
