FS: 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I am selling my wifes 97 Grand Cherokee Laredo, getting her an Envoy in place of. Here is a list of the basics:
-94,000 miles
-5.2 liter V8
-Quadratrac (automatic 4WD)
-tan leather interior
-red exterior/grey bottom
-AM/FM cassette w/Panasonic cd changer
-vent visors
-black step bars
-power windows, locks
-keyless entry
We bought it in 01 with 66K miles. At that time it had new tires put on (still decent tread). No major repairs that I can think of. Oil reminder set for every 3K miles and has been changed religiously.
Things that need corrected-
-someone keyed the drivers door over a year ago and we never had it fixed, it is not down to bare metal. No signs of rust whatsoever.
-coolant level sensor is bad, have one here never put it in yet.
-door speakers are blown, but still work.
It runs/drives good and it is a torquey thing, 4WD works great.
I am asking $7,500 with the 3 above things fixed or
$7,000 the way it sits. Also, may consider partial trade of a late 80's/early 90's Chevrolet/GMC extended cab 2WD truck (I would like to have a Mark III edition).
Thanks,
Chris

Kyle, congrats on the Blazer. You have alot of options in aftermarket parts for that. I went up north a couple of hours last friday and picked my wife up an 02 Bravada. Now that she has her vehicle I can be a bit more flexable on trades (manual vs auto). I wish I had your old Z now, but I couldn't risk it at the time. I sold my Grand Prix monday, so now I am driving the Jeep. Still would love to find a good 2WD ext cab truck though.
Thanks,
Chris

TTT for ya,
To be honest.. I wish I had it as well as the Blazer, but there will be another one someday.
The guy I traded the car to, painted the Chrome Badges black, removed the Nitrous System, and Took the strut Tower Brace off.
I was like WTF?

Kyle, I think it is more like WOW, what a loss I am taking on this vehicle. Wrong time of the year to sell this thing. Maybe I will keep it until this fall when people panic for a 4WD and then sell it. I have an offer to trade on a mustang vert, If the guy still wants to, I think I will do it. I have had Jeep guys tell me not to take under 6K for it since it is a V8 with Quadratrac, but we started too many projects around the house now and it has busted the bank.
